A little bit about me
When embarking on the journey of self care, it’s important to feel comfortable with the person you’re travelling with.
You deserve a therapist who has a deep and unique understanding of trauma, a therapist that is skillful, knowledgeable, relatable and judgement free. A therapist that “gets it.” Sessions with me will be collaborative and tailored to your unique needs and preferences. I will customize a treatment plan that fosters deep self-understanding and lasting change. Here you will find a down-to-earth, transparent, compassionate and genuine person who works hard to earn and maintain your trust, who supports and challenges you though your personal growth.
Through my own journey to healing from adverse child hood traumas, struggles with health and mental health, I’ve become motivated to guide others who are seeking to live each day with more joy, love and happiness. By learning how to overcome negative thinking patterns and unhelpful behaviors, I’ve been able shift my perspective and learned to love, accept and appreciate all of the challengers I have experienced and learned from.

I offer a free 15 minute consultation as I know how important it is to find a therapist whom you feel comfortable with.
First session (intake session) is about 60 minutes. It will feel a bit more like a business meeting at first, as we’ll focus on gathering and discussing your background, current medical diagnoses and medications, any past mental health treatments, as well as what it is that brings you to seek out therapy today.
Follow-up appointments last 40-50 minutes. We will usually meet once a week, sometimes every other a week.
All appointments are video only and are easily accessed by you wherever is most comfortable or convenient, at home, from your work office, or even in your parked car if privacy is difficult to find at home.
Notice to clients and prospective clients:
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
